Micro-Conference 4.0 is now accepting session proposals. This year's theme, Subway to Success: Leading Through AI & Change, invites talent development professionals to share insights on navigating change, integrating AI into practice, and leading through complexity.
We are especially interested in sessions that are practical, interactive, and designed to help participants apply new ideas to their work.
We program a mix of formats, including breakout workshops, panels, and more. We welcome proposals at all experience levels. If you have a perspective worth sharing with a room full of engaged L&D practitioners, we want to hear from you.

Since its launch, the Micro-Conference has grown into one of the most anticipated days on the ATD NYC annual calendar. Each year, we raise the bar: more sessions, stronger speakers, and a larger community of talent development professionals coming together to learn and connect.
The first ATD NYC Micro-Conference established what would become our chapter’s flagship event. We brought together talent development professionals for sessions and conversation, planting the foundation for everything that followed.
Year two raised the bar on speaker caliber and grew our attendance, deepening the sense of community that makes the Micro-Conference distinct. The room reflected a growing appetite for concentrated, high-quality professional development.
Year three saw the Micro-Conference grow in both size and scope. We expanded the number and variety of sessions, doubled attendance again, and continued to build an event that delivers more every year.
