Presidential Message

I'm filled with gratitude and excitement for what makes ATDNYC such an extraordinary community. We often discuss as a chapter: What makes someone still want to join a professional association today? After all, this is not your grandfather's workplace anymore. The world of work has changed dramatically. And so too has our chapter.

Yet despite all this transformation, one thing has remained constant: our shared human need to learn, connect, and belong.

Our mission says it beautifully: We empower talent development professionals with meaningful connections, innovative learning, and transformational experiences to drive workplace impact and shape the future of work.

And we live this mission because of you — our members, volunteers, and leaders who bring curiosity, generosity, and heart into every room we gather in. This chapter is so vibrant and alive because of you.

ATDNYC is more than a professional association. It's a community of belonging.

It's that feeling of walking into a room, whether virtual or in-person and knowing you've found your people. People who value growth. People who love ideas. People who believe in developing others. People willing to play, experiment, and create together.
